The Mississippi Gulf Coast offers diverse fishing opportunities throughout the year. In the inshore waters around Gulfport, anglers can target species like redfish, speckled trout, and flounder in the abundant marshes, bayous, and grass flats. Offshore trips venture into the Gulf of Mexico where bigger game fish await, including snapper, grouper, cobia, and mackerel depending on the season.
Water conditions and seasonal patterns greatly influence fishing success in this region. The brackish waters of the Mississippi Sound create unique ecosystems where both freshwater and saltwater species thrive. Captain Ben stays updated on daily conditions and adjusts fishing locations accordingly to maximize your chances of success. Fall fishing in particular offers excellent opportunities as many species feed aggressively in preparation for winter.
Your charter begins at our convenient Gulfport marina location. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
